A Sacred Gathering
Born from a holy fire and a heart for women everywhere, The POWER Encounter Collective is more than a ministry — it is a movement.
The POWER Encounter Collective exists because women everywhere are hungry for something real — a tangible, transformative encounter with the living God. We believe that when women come together in His presence, chains break, hearts heal, and a generation is awakened to walk in its true identity and authority.
We are women from every nation, tribe, language, and season of life. We are mothers, daughters, leaders, dreamers, and intercessors. What unites us is the conviction that the power of God is for every woman — and that together, we can carry that power into the world.

To unite women across cultures, generations, and backgrounds by creating transformative spaces where they encounter the power of God through prayer, outreach, worship, empowerment, and reconciliation.

To cultivate a global movement of women who are spiritually awakened, healed, empowered, and equipped to impact their communities through the power of God.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Rev. Alicia Starnes
A Grateful Servant of God
Rev. Alicia Starnes is a grateful servant of God who strives daily to live out her calling with love, faith, and humility. Though a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, she was primarily raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, where her faith and love for ministry began to take root. Her greatest joy is sharing the message of hope and salvation through Jesus Christ and walking alongside others as they discover God's purpose for their lives.
She preached her initial sermon on April 27, 2012, at Wesley AME Zion Church in Harrisburg, North Carolina, and by God's grace, was appointed Pastor of The Young's Memorial AME Zion Church in New Market, Tennessee, on May 25, 2024.
Rev. Starnes is the proud mother of five children: Mya, Malachi, Kaiyon, Benjamin, and Jayelle, and a loving grandmother to her grandson, Aiden. She is also the eldest daughter of Bishop Darryl and Sister Camille Starnes, leaders of the Piedmont Episcopal District and Senior Bishop of the A.M.E. Zion Church.
Above all, Rev. Starnes gives glory to God for every opportunity to serve.
